There are 3 types of trend traders, namely they buy stocks to get big profits. Here are the types:

Trend Setter

Usually they buy stocks before they are bullish, they can get stuck because the stock is still downtrend or even they are still stuck in a long consolidation phase. Or they also have cheap stocks at the beginning of the bullish phase later.

Trend Follower

Buy stocks when the uptrend has started. They can make big profits but they can also lose things because they have sold up a little.

Trend Stopper

Buy stocks that are uptrend at relatively high prices. After buying, the share price actually went down and the uptrend was over. Usually they buy because of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out).
