Elewit venture client : innovation in energy and telecommunications
Elewit, Redeia's technology platform, is launching the fourth edition of its program aimed at startups from around the world that are pioneers in new technologies and benchmarks in the energy and telecommunications sectors.
It is a participation and collaboration model in which Redeia companies develop use cases together with startups to test innovative technology. The objective of these pilots is to offer innovative solutions to respond to the company's challenges in the field of ecological transition and connectivity.
Since the first edition of the Elewit program, it has already invested more than one million euros in it and has developed 23 pilots together with 18 startups in the fields of electrical network maintenance, satellite connectivity, occupational safety, telecommunications and transformation digital and ecological.
Six startups from previous editions have already become providers of innovative solutions for Redeia companies.
Awesome Lab, innovative solutions in fashion
Desigual launches the second edition of this initiative that is part of the fashion firm's strategic commitment to extend creativity and innovation across the board and make collaboration a key to its business.
The objective of this edition is to have projects in an advanced phase that can develop proofs of concept in a short period of time and quickly add value to the industry.
\n \nThe company has Wayra as a partner to detect startups that can respond to challenges in the sector such as improving the user experience, circularity or data analysis. On this occasion, the aim is to draw the attention of emerging companies with projects related to the areas of user experience, customer and product-oriented data analysis, payment methods, logistics channel optimization and textile circularity.
In this second edition, three scouting sprints will be carried out to detect the startups that respond to the different challenges posed by Desigual. The first, focused on generating visibility for marketing campaigns and capturing leads, is already underway and will culminate with the selection of the first 5 selected companies, which will be announced in the coming weeks. In addition, an open call will be held within the framework of the Mobile World Congress Barcelona in 2023, within the 4YFN program that attracts the best digital startups from around the world to Barcelona. The objective of this open call is to attract entrepreneurs whose projects can fit in with the challenges facing the fashion sector.
'Innomakers4Health': challenges on mental health and sustainability
Pfizer, the Pfizer Foundation and TheCUBE launch the IV edition of this program that seeks to respond to the challenges of the health sector and create prototypes that improve the quality of life of the population. These challenges are presented through two challenges, which in this edition are:
- Challenge 1: How to prevent and improve mental health problems using technology and Big Data from digital platforms (RRSS, video games, web portals, etc.)?
- Challenge 2: How to achieve a more environmentally sustainable healthcare system through technological solutions?
The participating teams will have to propose and develop, in 48 hours, innovative solutions that respond to two challenges focused on the needs and challenges of the health sector. The event, which this time will be held in a hybrid way, will be on November 24, 25 and 26.
The winning team will be able to accelerate their project in the InnomakersLAB, the Pfizer Hub together with TheCUBE. The first three classified will share a prize worth €6,000 to encourage national talent.
